Dreamland Cinema is an irregular film club based in Brighton, hosted by girlfriends Kate Wood and Catherine O'Sullivan. Join them for a journey into cinema dreams and celluloid nightmares: pop-up screenings of cult favourites, under-seen classics, queer gems and experimental shorts.
Dreamland started life in 2015 at 88 London Road (formerly Emporium Theatre) and has since hosted events at Fabrica Gallery, the Lick warehouse in New England House, the Rose Hill, and the Shakespeare's Head. We've also been pleased to work with a number of fellow Brighton exhibitors, festivals and clubs, including: Eyes Wide Open Cinema, the Women Over 50 Film Festival and Open Colour, Duke's After Dark (RIP), and Allsorts Youth Project.
